at 12:30, December 9, PRESS CENTER of the Ukrainian News information agency was hosted a PRESS CONFERENCE , at which the Steering Committee For Extraordinary Meeting entitled "Ukraine is Zone of Cultural Disaster" was reported about the situation and work done.
The press conference was concern presentation of a book commemorating liquidated bookstores in Kyiv - photograph album entitled "Bookish Kyiv of 1991-2008." A personal copy will be presented to a representative of the Kyiv city state administration for the Kyiv mayor.
At the press conference, guides of the Cultural Disaster Zone will report about the work done in regions:
- The musical community of Odesa sues the Culture and Tourism Ministry and the Education ad Science Ministry for inactivity,
- Lviv in leaders: local intelligentsia has achieved cooperation with the local government in protection of bookstores,
- The cinema community of Kyiv has defended important cinemas.

Participants was include:
- Yurii Dikii, the head of the mission of David Oistrakh and Sviatoslav Rikhter (Odesa),
- Mykhailo Vatuliak, the head of he Association of Publishers and Book Distributors of Lviv Region,
- Olha Aivazovska, a representative of the Opora non-government organization in Kyiv.
