The National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) first deputy secretary Stepan Havrysh has said he rules out possibility of creation of a coalition without the Party of Regions faction in the Verkhovna Rada of 6th convocation.
Havrysh expressed this opinion on air of the Ukraina television company.
"We are facing a severe parliamentary crisis, and there are two ways to resolve it. The first one is Bohoslovska and Yanukovych coming to power, and creating a new coalition in the Verkhovna Rada. We realize that it is unreal to create it without them. The other way is to conduct early parliamentary elections," Havrysh said.
He also noted that coordinated activity of all political forces is required for effective functioning of the Verkhovna Rada. According to him, exchange of accusations and ultimatums will cause nothing but escalation of the crisis in the country.
In his opinion, it is reasonably to create a Cabinet of Ministers embracing all political forces that would concentrate its activity on minimization of the negative impacts of the economic crisis rather than struggling for political power.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Deputy Parliament Speaker Mykola Tomenko, who is one of the leaders of the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc, believes that it is the Presidential Secretariat that is interested in creation of a coalition embracing the Our Ukraine - People's Self-Defense bloc faction and the Party of Regions faction.
Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko Faction head Ivan Kyrylenko sees a bare chance of forming a new majority coalition in the Verkhovna Rada without his faction.
