In January-October 2008, the production of cigarettes rose by 2.6% or by 2.785 billion cigarettes compared to January-October 2007, to 110.247 billion cigarettes.

As Ukrainian News reported, in September, the production of cigarettes fell by 7.7% or by 956 million cigarettes compared to August, to 11.484 billion cigarettes.

In 2007, the production of cigarettes increased by 6.8% or by 8.198 billion cigarettes compared to 2006, to 128.531 billion.
