The Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade of the Federative Republic of Brazil introduced a 6.8-17.8% anti-dumping duty on ammonium nitrate imported from Ukraine, a well-informed source announced to Ukrainian News.
In his information, on November 4, the external trade commission of the Brazilian Ministry passed resolution according to which the 6.8% anti-dumping duty per year is levied on imported saltpeter made by RivneAzot, 13.9% on saltpeter made by Azot and 17.8% on saltpeter made by Stirol.
The duty gained effect on November 7 but the same resolution says that it will be levied with a year delay.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Brazil introduced on November 18, 2002 a 19% anti-dumping duty against ammonium nitrate imported from Ukraine for five years.
