Remains of Baturin tragedy victims were reburied at the newly-built Zamkova Church of Resurrection of Christ.

The church was built in the territory of the restored citadel in Baturin where an ancient temple of Resurrection of Christ destroyed by Russian soldiers during the town assault was placed.

Historical documents did not save the original view of the church, so craftsmen from Lviv region under the auspices of the Kharkiv regional state administration built it like any Ukrainian Orthodox church of the late 17th century.

The remains of Baturin victims were reburied in the church's crypt.

Bishop of Chernihiv Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Kyiv Patriarchy, dioceman of Chernihiv and Nizhyn Illarion, consecrated the church.

Vasyl Vovkun, minister of culture, and Volodymyr Khomenko, head of the Chernihiv regional state administration, attended the event.
