Volodymyr Lytvyn, the leader of the political bloc, has said President Viktor Yuschenko may cancel his decree disbanding the Verkhovna Rada of the sixth convocation.

He said this at a press conference in Simferopol.

"I do not rule out [the cancellation of the decree], because every man of power acts under a principle - I am with powers, I have given a word and I can take it back or suspend and later I will demonstrate that it works," Lytvyn said.

He said the decree could be challenged in court.

According to him, there were some violations in the decree and they can be a ground to go to court.

According to Lytvyn, Yuschenko was guided by political emotions while disbanding the Verkhovna Rada.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko has mounted a challenge to Kyiv Administration Court of Appeal judge Mykhailo Mozhevych presiding over consideration of the claim submitted by the President's Secretariat against suspension of the decree on dissolution of the Verkhovna Rada.

On October 12, the Kyiv Administration Court of Appeal postponed until October 13 the hearing of the Presidential Secretariat's claim against the court ruling suspending Rada's dissolution, issued in response to the appeal of the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko.

On October 10, the Kyiv District Administrative Court suspended Yuschenko's decree No.911 on early termination of parliament powers.

Yuschenko set early elections for December 7.
