Deputy Verkhovna Rada Chairman and one of the leaders of the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc faction Mykola Tomenko considers that work of the Verkhovna Rada of the sixth convocation in September-October 2008 was most efficient.
He said this at a press conference.
"As the vice speaker I consider that the parliament's work during the third session was the most efficient in history of the Verkhovna Rada of the sixth convocation," he said.
Tomenko said that almost all laws and resolutions endorsed by the parliament during this period were signed by President Viktor Yuschenko.
The deputy wonders why the president disbanded the Verkhovna Rada if he approves decisions it takes.
He considers that Yuschenko's actions do not coincide with his words.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Yuschenko had disbanded the parliament and set the early Verkhovna Rada elections for December 7.
