Vitalii Klychko, a boxer, leader of the Vitalii Klychko bloc faction in the Kyiv city council, defeated Nigerian Samuel Peter to win back the WBC heavyweight title on Saturday.

Klychko led in the fight since the first seconds.

He began by slowly taking measure of Peter, jabbing away at him, but kept Peter at distance.

In the first round Peter tried to attack and Klychko's several punches could land him to knockout.

In the next three rounds Peter braced up, but Klychko's advantage was obvious.

After the fourth round all referees showed Vitalii's absolute advantage 40:36.

The situation has not changed in the following rounds.

The match was stopped because Peter refused to continue the fight.

Thus, Klychko's beat Peter with 80:72.

As Ukrainian News reported, Volodymyr Klychko defended the IBF, WBO, IBO heavyweight titles in the 12th-round fight against American Tony Thompson at night on July 13.

He knocked out Thomson in the eleventh round.

The brothers Klychko won three out of four major belts in heavyweight.

They repeatedly said their dream was to obtain all prestigious belts in boxing.

The most prestigious titles in professional boxing are WBC, IBF, WBA, and WBO.

The only title left for the Klychko is WBA held by Russian Nikolai Valuyev and Uzbek Ruslan Chagayev.
