Verkhovna Rada deputy Borys Kolesnykov of the Party of Regions faction thinks that the parliament speaker post is unattractive for chair of the Party of Regions faction Viktor Yanukovych.

He has announced this in his interview with the Korrespondent magazine.

"Viktor Fedorovych [Yanukovych] possesses experience in leading the government, why would he become the speaker?" he replied to the question about who will be the next speaker after the snap parliamentary elections.

Moreover, Kolesnykov thinks it is expedient to introduce moratorium on the political matters that arouse confrontation in the parliament after the early elections.

"Public interests must be higher than the personal ones. This means five years of moratorium on all the disputable issues. The NATO Membership Action Plan is to be recalled, so as bills on Russian as the second national language," the deputy thinks.

He stands for deputies to deal only with the economic development of the country in course of the next parliament cadence.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, MP Ihor Kril of the Our Ukraine - People's Self-Defense bloc faction announced on 8 October the agreement between the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc and the Party of Regions factions on distributing posts for the case of forming a new parliamentary coalition.

According to these agreements, Yanukovych is proposed the parliament speaker post.

President Viktor Yuschenko scheduled preliminary elections to the Verkhovna Rada for 7 December.
