Lutsenko Disappointed With Yuschenko's Presidency (15:48, Friday, October 10, 2008)

Speaking at a press conference, Interior Affairs Minister Yurii Lutsenko, who is also leader of the People's Self-Defense public movement, said he is disappointed with actions of President Viktor Yuschenko at his post.

"I'm disappointed with what we have as a result of Yuschenko's presidency," he said.

Moreover, he stresses that he does not want to be the president or the prime minister.

Lutsenko notes he feels himself done to run for president.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Lutsenko thinks that Yuschenko need snap parliamentary elections to form a coalition of the Our Ukraine People's Union party with the Party of Regions faction of the Lytvyn Bloc faction.

Before this, Lutsenko said that early parliamentary elections were then in question because President Viktor Yuschenko wanted to remove Yulia Tymoshenko from the post of prime minister.
