Deputy Head of the Presidential Secretariat Maryna Stavniichuk considers that financing of the early parliamentary elections is possible from the reserve fund of the 2008 state budget.

She told this to Ukrainian News.

She said that to finance the elections from the reserve fund amendments into the 2008 state budget are not required.

Stavniichuk said that the decision on granting the funds from the reserve fund can be taken by the Cabinet of Ministers.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Rada intended to eye a number of laws on the order of holding and financing of the early parliamentary elections only after the decree on dissolution of the Verkhovna Rada is published.

On October 8, President Viktor Yuschenko disbanded the Verkhovna Rada.

The decree was signed on October 9 and published (took effect) on October 10.

Yuschenko scheduled the early Verkhovna Rada elections for December 7.
