The faction of the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko in the parliament has urged other factions to support a draft resolution introducing voting for laws required for holding early elections to the Verkhovna Rada by raising of hands.
BYT MP Andrii Portnov, the deputy leader of the faction, told this to the press.
"We have registered a draft resolution on kinds and ways of voting for all these election laws," he said.
In particular, the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko proposes to use this kind of voting for the endorsement of the law canceling 50% voter turnout for snap elections to the Verkhovna Rada, endorsement of amendments to the 2008 national budget concerning funding of the snap elections.
Portnov did not give a clear answer whether or not the faction would block the meeting of the Verkhovna Rada on Friday.
He said he considered the Verkhovna Rada empowered until the installment of MPs of the next convocation of the parliament, although the presidential decree disbanding the parliament had come into force.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the faction of the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko on October 9 blocked the rostrum and the presidium of the Verkhovna Rada.
The faction said it would block the work of the parliament until the Verkhovna Rada passed amendments to the 2008 national budget and considered the draft national budget for 2009.
