The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has reminded commercial banks of the need to perform operations with Prominvestbank, where temporary administration has been imposed, only with the knowledge of the bank’s temporary administrator.
This reminder is contained in the NBU’s letter No. 47-112/840 dated October 7.
«We are informing about the introduction of a temporary administration and performance of operations on the bank’s correspondent accounts only based on the signature of the temporary administrator or persons authorized by him,» the letter states.
NBU Deputy Chairman Volodymyr Krotiuk is the temporary administrator of Prominvestbank.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the NBU introduced temporary administration at Prominvestbank on October 7 and appointed Krotiuk as the bank’s temporary administrator.
The NBU also imposed a six-month moratorium on meeting claims from Prominvestbank’s creditors.
