Ukravtoprom association of auto producers of Ukraine has initiated public discussion of the problems faced by Ukraine's automotive industry and development aspects of the Ukrainian auto market.

In particular, Ukravtoprom together with DerzhZovnishInform Center decided to organize the First International conference "AutoPROm.UA-2008".

"It is important for the producers to identify main priorities in the development of Ukraine's automotive industry. We need to ensure integration of the Ukrainian automobile industry into the world motor industry", - says Mikhail Reznik, President of Ukravtoprom.

The First International Conference "AutoPROm.UA-2008" will take place on November 18, 2008 in Kyiv at Hyatt Regency Kyiv hotel.

Organizers of the AutoPROm.UA-2008 conference offer market participants the virtual exchange of opinions and positions, which concern the priorities of the industry, opportunities to discuss different viewpoints on topical issues in the motor industry, as well as an opportunity to find the best solutions to the problems.

The automotive industry participants today need to set up complete business relations. They demand effective dialogue, which should consider many problems in the industry. The main points to be discussed are the effective government2business and business2business ways of interaction, specific taxation details and licensing issues in automotive production, determination of the results of Ukraine's WTO accession faced by the industry, and adjusting import duty for automobiles.

The issues of national companies' protection, development of the national producers, effective cooperation and partnership with global companies, as well as creation of favorable investment environment in the country are also of vital importance.
