Verkhovna Rada’s Communist Party faction leader Petro Symonenko is predicting that President Viktor Yuschenko may remove Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko by calling an acting head of government.
The communist leader expressed this opinion to the press.
«I believe, under the pretext of the Cabinet of Ministers’ not submitting proposals on the election campaign financing, the Cabinet may be removed. Thus Yuschenko will clear the ground and actually introduce a direct presidential rule,» he said.
The communist leader called as adventurous Yuschenko’s decision to dissolve the Rada, and accused the head of state of attempts to install a nationalist dictatorship.
As Ukrainian News reported, on October 8, President Viktor Yuschenko early terminated the powers of Verkhovna Rada, and appointed a snap parliamentary election for December 7.
