The Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) of Ukraine has opened its plenary meeting, and announced a break in it until 12:30, Parliament Speaker Arsenii Yatseniuk said.
After announcing a plenary meeting, Yatseniuk declared a break until 12:30 for the Rada leaders’ consultations with parliamentary faction leaders for coordination of the parliament’s further work.
«As usually, I declare a break until 12:30,» he Speaker said.
Beside that, he noted, consultations of parliament leaders with President Viktor Yuschenko have just finished in keeping with Article 90 of the Constitution, where as he pit it all leaders of the parliamentary factions were present.
439 MPs were registered in the session hall.
As Ukrainian News reported, in the morning, the Presidential Secretariat hosted consultations of President Viktor Yuschenko with Rada leaders.
Following the consultations, the presidential press service declared consent of heads of all parliamentary faction heads for early parliamentary elections.
The BYT - OU-PSD coalition broke up on September 16.
