A 38-year-old Azerbaijani man arrested in Kirovohrad died at about 20:30 on October 6 in a police station of the Kirovskyi district police department in that city due to impaired cardial function.
Ukrainian News learned this from Vasyl Dotsenko, the head of the department for work with law enforcement agencies of the Kirovohrad regional state administration.
The Azerbaijani man was arrested on suspicion of participation in a skirmish at one of the market of Kirovohrad.
As a result of the skirmish two people were hospitalized with wounds.
Post-mortem examination on October 7 established that the man died of impaired cardial function.
Medical assessors also registered minor bodily injuries on the body of the man.
Officers of the Kirovohrad regional prosecutor's office and the internal security division of the regional office of the Ministry of Interior Affairs are holding internal investigation in the case.
Vasyl Plaviuk, the head of the regional office of the Ministry of Interior Affairs, has order comprehensive check of the activities of the Kirovskyi district police department.
Regional prosecutor Hennadii Tiurin monitors the situation.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, arrested businessman Serhii Kuntevskyi died on October 2 of closed craniocerebral injury in the office of the Pryluky city department for organized crime of the Chernihiv regional office of the Ministry of Interior Affairs.
