Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has announced that President Viktor Yuschenko does not want to talk to her.
She made this statement to the press in her personal office.
The prime minister made a telephone call in the presence of the journalists and then explained that she was trying to reach the President.
No one answered and she told the press that it had been like that for the past six months.
"When I put up the telephone receiver, I can hear only beep sounds that no one ever answers," she said.
The President is absent in his office, his secretary forwards the calls to his own phone and promises to get back later.
"My calls are never forwarded anywhere," Tymoshenko said.
The prime minister stressed that she has tried to reach Yuschenko many times, but did not receive a single reply or meeting appointment.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Tymoshenko believes that cooperation with Yuschenko cannot be constructive because the President views her as a competitor in the next presidential elections.
Tymoshenko could not say when she had a private meeting with Yuschenko for the last time.
