Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has said that the macroeconomic situation is stable.
She announced this at a press conference.
"Despite huge counteraction to the government work, we maintain macroeconomic stability today," Tymoshenko said.
She said that stability is being maintained despite the world financial and economic crisis.
Moreover, Tymoshenko noted that her government keeps inflation within the projected limits.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, consumer prices have grown by 1.1% since September 2008.
Inflation was 16.1% in January-September.
In August, real GDP grew by 10.9% compared with August 2007 to UAH 97.832 million.
In January-August 2008, GDP rose by 7.1%, compared with January-August 2007 to UAH 628.180 million.
