Great Britain is going to assist Ukraine in its integration with NATO.

In his joint statement with President Viktor Yuschenko, British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has also confirmed his country's commitment to secure sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
The officials agreed to continue cooperation in the fight against illegal migration and human trafficking, including by way of implementation of the readmission agreement between Ukraine and the European Union.
The President of Ukraine and the Prime Minister of Great Britain pointed to the importance of developing interpersonal contacts.
The parties agreed with the need to conduct a reform in the Ukrainian energy sector, and expect the talks on Ukraine's admission to the Agreement on Energy Commonwealth.
They also emphasized on the importance of improving energy efficiency as a means of strengthening energy security and well-being.
Yuschenko and Brown further agreed to continue cooperation in commemorating and enhancing public awareness of the 1932-1933 Holodomor, including during the 75th Holodomor anniversary festivities.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Ukraine and Great Britain stated the importance of stepping up their political dialogue.
Yuschenko traveled to Great Britain on Monday for an official visit.
Ukraine is seeking to start a dialogue with Great Britain on abolishing visas between the countries.
