The Book of Ukrainian Records has registered a unique motor rally with involvement of animals.

The motor rally was part of an annual charity marathon entitled "Open Your Hearts to Them" held to coincide with the Animal Protection Day and sponsored by the Youth League for Animal Protection.

The objective of the marathon is to facilitate public support to human and responsible treatment of animals and the Kyiv city program for the problem of stray pets.

Besides, a number of events planned by organizers assisted the marathon: the first race, "Find a Friend" event, thanks to which any person could select a pet from a catalogue, charity fair, photo-sale exhibition and lottery.
