President Viktor Yuschenko has founded the Day of Pulp-and-Paper Industry Workers on the third Saturday of October.

This follows from decree No. 885/2008 issued on October 1.

Yuschenko founded the Day of Pulp-and-Paper Industry Workers to support the initiative of pulp-and-paper industry workers.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the president founded the Rescuer's Day on September 17.
