Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) Deputy Ihor Kril (Our Ukraine - People's Self-Defense bloc faction) says the factions of the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc and the Party of Regions have an agreement on distribution of posts in case they form a new parliamentary coalition.
This was announced by the press service of the Kril-led United Center party.
He voiced confidence that, upon completion of the ten-day term, the Rada would form a new coalition uniting the BYT and the Party of Regions.
"There is no use of talking about early elections, since upon completion of the ten-day term the country will see a Kremlin-like coalition at Verkhovna Rada," the MP says.
In his words, the key government posts have been already distributed: Party of Regions leader Viktor Yanukovych will chair the parliament, MP Mykola Tomenko (BYT) will be his first deputy, and MP Adam Martyniuk (Communist Party) will be a deputy parliament speaker.
Kril also says in a possible new Cabinet of Ministers the Communist Party will control humanitarian block and agriculture, the Party of Regions will supervise industry and foreign policy, while the BYT will be in charge of the national economy.
As Ukrainian News reported, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko said the Verkhovna Rada coalition might change its format.
Verkhovna Rada deputy of the Our Ukraine - People's Self-Defense Bloc faction Volodymyr Stretovych admits creation of a coalition between the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc and the Party of Regions factions if they agree on division of posts of the speaker and prime minister.
The OU-PSD decided on September 2 to withdraw from the coalition.
The decision was passed by 39 MPs, with 37 votes needed for its adoption.
