Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko is urging the mass media not to demonize Viktor Baloha, President's Secretariat chief.

She made this statement at a press conference.

"I am calling upon you not to demonize Baloha," she said.

She also said that any head of the Secretariat forges the policy that his boss permits.

"A secretariat is a mirror of its boss. It goes as far as the boss allows to," she noted.

She went on to say that the governing body of Cabinet's Secretariat has never entered into conflicts with the President's Secretariat and has never criticized its activity.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, on September 5, Verkhovna Rada asked President Viktor Yuschenko to dismiss Viktor Baloha from the post of Presidential Secretariat head.

Internal Affairs Minister Yurii Lutsenko considers that resignation of Viktor Baloha will preserve the coalition.

Baloha repeatedly criticized Yulia Tymoshenko's activity as the Prime Minister.
