Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko is accusing President Viktor Yuschenko and Presidential Secretariat Head Viktor Baloha of withdrawing Ihor Rybakov, a Verkhovna Rada deputy of the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc faction, and Yurii But, a Verkhovna Rada deputy of the Our Ukraine - People's Self-Defense Bloc faction, from the coalition.
She said this addressing a press-conference.
"The President and his Secretariat Head helped withdraw two people's deputies from the coalition - Rybakov and But", she said.
This was one of president's moves towards coalition collapse, she emphasized.
Tymoshenko is confident Yuschenko and his Secretariat have done their utmost to break up the coalition since the first day of its formation.
"The democratic coalition has been forced to fall apart since its creation in 2008", Tymoshenko stressed. According to Tymoshenko, the president aimed, in the first place, to discredit her as a potential opponent at the upcoming presidential elections in 2010.
The prime minister thinks Yuschenko acts against the interests of the whole nation in achieving his political goals.
As Tymoshenko put it, representatives of the European Parliament also consider Yuschenko neglects the country's interests.
Tymoshenko said she focused all her efforts to maintain the existing coalition and would not betray her principles.
As Ukrainian News reported, on June 6, Verkhovna Rada deputies Ihor Rybakov and Yurii But announced their decision to quit the coalition.
The coalition currently consists of 225 deputies.
The parliamentary majority should be formed of at least 226 deputies.
