The Party of Regions insists on retention of parliamentary-presidential government in Ukraine, party's leader Viktor Yanukovych said this at a briefing.
"Ukraine should remain the country with parliamentary-presidential regime," Yanukovych said.
He also said that in this case the president will have enough power to control observation of the Constitution.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Verkhovna Rada Chairman Arsenii Yatseniuk calls on retention of parliamentary-presidential government in Ukraine, however Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko opposes this.
