PFTS Share Index Down By 35.90 Points To 482.96 Points (18:02, Friday, September 5, 2008)

The share index of the First Stock Trading System stock exchange (PFTS) fell by 35.90 points to 482.96 points on Friday, the PFTS press service has informed.

Since the beginning of the year, the PFTS share index has fallen by 691.06 points or 58.9% from 1,174.02 points.

The volume of trades amounted to UAH 69.654 million during the day.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the PFTS share index fell by 3.9 points to 518.86 points on Thursday.

The PFTS share index has been calculated since October 1, 1997.

As of September 1, 2008, the PFTS listing had 999 securities. There were 14 securities in the first level listing, 199 in the second level, and 786 securities were out of the listing.
