Board chairman of Naftohaz Ukrainy national joint-stock company Oleh Dubyna and board chairman of Russian gas monopoly Gazprom Aleksey Miller have discussed gas supplies to Ukraine and its transit via Ukraine, Naftohaz Ukrainy press service said.
The working meeting between Dubyna and Miller was held at the central Gazprom office on Friday, September 5.
The parties of the talks also pointed to constructive cooperation and fulfillment of agreement on development of gas relations.
In 2009, the work will be continued in the frames of requirements fixed in this agreement.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, on March 12, Gazprom and Naftohaz Ukrainy signed the agreement "On development of relations in gas sector."
The agreement envisages that Gazprom subsidiary will supply Ukrainian industrial consumers 7.5 billion cubic meters of gas.
