The Cabinet of Ministers has cheapened housing construction.
This is read in the Cabinet of Ministers resolution No.772 of August 27.
The Cabinet of Ministers has lowered the ceiling size of customer's funds attracted for development of engineering-transport and social infrastructure.
For construction of engineering facilities and nonresidential houses, the indicator was reduced from 20% to 5%; and from 10% to 2% for construction of culture, education, medical and recreation facilities.
The government ruled that constructors should give over maximum 2% of the total built housing area to local authorities.
The housing real estate is handed over after local authorities pay its average cost fixed by the Regional Development and Construction Ministry during the period of a month.
If the local authorities violate the payment terms, constructors obtains right to sell the housing.
The section of the resolution is spread for constructors' liabilities, on which the terms for handing over the housing to local authorities have not yet come.
The Cabinet of Ministers banned fixing any additional mandatory payments and charges not envisaged by the taxation legislation for the period of facility construction.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, since October 2007, the Regional Development and Construction Ministry fixed the average weighed cost of the housing construction at the level of UAH 3,380 per square meter.
