Russian has confirmed its respect to territorial integrity of Ukraine.
Minister-counselor of the Russia embassy to Ukraine Vsevolod Loskutov told this to Ukrainian News.
"Our Prime Minister Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin said that we respect territorial integrity of Ukraine. We have the agreement [on friendship and co-operation] and we won't change our position," he said.
At the same time, Loskutov said that Russia reserves the right to respond for anti-Russian statements made by Ukraine.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, in August, after the armed conflict was unleashed between Georgia and Russia, President Viktor Yuschenko said he considers that the threat to territorial sovereignty of Georgia is the threat of territorial integrity of Ukraine.
