On Friday officers from the State Border Guard Service arrested an attempt of a 32-year-old mother to illegally take her daughter of 8 to Italy in the Boryspil airport.
Ukrainian News has learned this from the press service of the Border Guard Service.
When registering documents of passengers for the Kyiv-Milan flight, the woman produced a notarized consent of the child's father for taking the girl abroad.
The border service inspector got suspicious of that this document could be counterfeited.
Border guards together with officers from the Security Service detected the father's location (in Khmelnytskyi).
The law enforcers found out that the father had not given his consent for taking the child abroad and that the signature in the document was forged.
The child was not let to cross the border.
Materials in the case were sent to the Kyiv regional prosecutor's office.
