The Security Service of Ukraine has refuted reports made by two security service officers concerning interference of the Presidential Secretariat in work of the agency.
Press service of the agency told this to Ukrainian News.
"The Security Service of Ukraine refutes the unfair and ungrounded information spread in the mass media," he said.
At the same time, the Security Service said that it remains politically unbiased.
At the same time, the report reads that the abovementioned reports cannot affect activity of the service in investigation into treason committed by some representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The Security Service of Ukraine said that Oleksandr Voitenko, who had made the reports, has not occupied any posts in the Security Service administration since 2006 and had been an advisor of a vice prime minister at the Cabinet of Ministers before July.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, on Thursday, two officers from the Security Service of Ukraine have reported on interference of the Presidential Secretariat in work of their agency.
