President Viktor Yuschenko is rebuking Verkhovna Rada for not passing a law on its working order.
The presidential press service made this statement, quoting deputy head of the President's Secretariat Maryna Stavniichuk.
"The President of Ukraine points to that the parliament still has not passed into law the Verkhovna Rada regulations despite of the Constitution demands a series of decisions made by the Constitutional Court," the press service conveys her words.
In V. Yuschenko's opinion, the parliament regulations must solve such questions as arrangement and cessation of the coalition's activity.
As Ukrainian News reported, in April, President Yuschenko used his right of veto against the bill on organization and procedure of the Verkhovna Rada activity that the parliament adopted on April 8.
The parliament determined on April 8 that arrangement and procedure of its work are regulated by the Constitution, the laws on status of parliamentary deputies, on parliamentary committees, on temporary investigation commissions, Rada regulations, and other laws.
Draft law No. 2204 entitled "On Arrangement and Procedure of Work of the Verkhovna Rada" received 359 votes while at least 226 were required for its endorsement.
On April 7, the Constitutional Court ruled unconstitutional the Verkhovna Rada's resolution "On Regulations of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine," dated March 16, 2006.
