As Kyiv is hosting events marking the 1020th anniversary of the 1020th anniversary of the conversion of Kyiv Rus into Christianity, Kyivskyi Metropoliten municipal company has decided to prolong the city subway traffic until 01:00 in the night between July 26 and July 27.
Ukrainian News learned this from a statement by the company, the wording of which was made available to the agency.
On July 26, the city subway traffic will start at 05:00.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Ukraine is celebrating the 1020th anniversary of the Baptism of Kyiv Rus.
Festivities will be held until July 27.
During the festivities 6,250 policemen will be maintaining the public order in Kyiv.
The Kyiv city office of the State Automobile Inspection advises car drivers not make trips to the downtown city during the festivities from July 25 through July 27.
