The insurance society announced this in a statement.
This is the second subdivision that the Illichivske insurance society has opened in Kyiv.
In total, the Illichivske insurance society has 13 affiliates and agencies in Ukraine.
According to Yurii Hryshan, the director-general of the Illichivske insurance society, the planned volume of investment in development of the insurance society's network of subdivisions in 2008 is UAH 32 million.
Part of this money will be used to open offices and launch a life insurance company called Illichivske.
As Ukrainian News reported, the Illichivske insurance society was registered as an open joint-stock company in 1997.
It was initially called the Strakhovyi Zakhyst insurance company.
Its major shareholders are the Illich metallurgical plant (95% of its shares), the Illich Stal closed joint-stock company, and the Komsomolsk ore mining board.
