Two workers died on Wednesday, as a part of a bulkhead fell on them in ventilating shaft No.228 at Palats Sportu subway station at 03:40.

Ukrainian News learned this from a statement by the Emergency Situations Ministry.

The workers were employees of Tunnel Facilities Service Company. They were dismantling noise insulation bulkhead of the outtake engine.

The bodies have been taken from under the wreckage.

The subway traffic continues as normal.
