Yuschenko Gives Testimony In His Poisoning Case To Prosecutor General's Office (20:11, Tuesday, July 22, 2008)

President Viktor Yuschenko has testified in the case of his poisoning in the investigation department of the Prosecutor General's Office.

The interrogation took four hours.

Yuschenko left the department through the back door at around 18:45.

The press service said he went for a meeting with chairman of Russia's gas monopolist Gazprom Aleksey Miller.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Yuschenko is happy about the progress in the investigation of his poisoning case.

At the beginning of June, the Prosecutor General's Office announced that it had no doubt Yuschenko was poisoned in 2004.
