The Cabinet of Ministers is going to approve at its next meeting on Wednesday the construction project for Terminal D at Boryspil Airport, Kyiv region.
This is stated in the meeting agenda posted on the official website of the government.
The Cabinet will also consider changes to the loan agreement on the project of Boryspil airport development between the government of Japan and the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC).
The government is expected to approve the adjusted construction project for a runway at the Donetsk international airport, a municipal enterprise.
In addition, it will approve the appointment of members to the supervisory board of the Nadra Ukrainy national joint-stock company.
The list of power units for electricity stations and cross-country, mountainous and rural power lines to be constructed in 2008 at the expense of the special fund of the national budget is further on the agenda.
The Cabinet will also hear reports by Fuel and Energy Minister Yurii Prodan and Health Minister Vasyl Kniazevych on progress in the measures aimed at realization of their priorities for 2008.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the Cabinet of Ministers plans to refuse from the loan of the Japan Bank for International Cooperation intended for construction of Terminal D at Boryspil Airport.
Dogus/Alarko/YAD won the tender for construction of Terminal D.
The final stage of the tender took place on July 5.
The construction budget is estimated at USD 350 million.
Of this amount, the JBIC was supposed to provide USD 170 million.
The project deadline is 2010.
In January, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the concept for a state program for development of the Boryspil international airport in the 2008-2020 period, which prioritizes construction of Terminal D.
