The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is intending to give the Kyiv city state administration a EUR 1.12 million grant to design a smart traffic control system (ASUDD) and draw up a parking strategy in Kyiv.
Ukrainian News learned this from the press service of the Kyiv city state administration.
Kyivdorservis is the beneficiary of the grant.
EUR 1 million will be used to design the ASUDD and the other EUR 0.12 million will be used to draw up the parking strategy in the city.
Denis Bass, the acting head of the city administration, and Oksana Selskaya, the chief banker of the department for municipal and ecological infrastructure at the EBRD, discussed the grant on Tuesday.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development was intending to give a EUR 200,000 grant to draw up a feasibility report of building a tunnel under the Dnipro River from the subway station Livoberezhna to Peremohy Square.
In April, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development said it was intending to give a EUR 30 million loan.
Of the sum, EUR 20 million was meant for Kyivdorservis to introduce ASUDD, and the other EUR 10 million were meant for KyivAvtoDor to reconstruct traffic interchanges at Poshtova Square, Moskovska Square, and Leninhradska Square.
