President Viktor Yuschenko thanks US President George Bush for support of the United States in Ukraine's intention to enter NATO.

Presidential press service announced this in a statement.

"We highly appreciate US support in implementation of foreign policy of Ukraine, in particular, NATO integration, entering WTO, international acknowledgement of 1932-1933 Great Famine, and provision of energy security," reads Yuschenko's congratulation letter to Bush on the occasion of Independence Day of the United States.

Yuschenko wished Bush sound health, welfare, and success.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Bush paid official visit to Ukraine on March 31 - April 1.
