UEFA considers that visit of its president Michel Platini to Kyiv on July 3 was useful.

This is disclosed in the report of the Ukrainian Football Federation.

"UEFA considers that visit of its official delegation to Ukraine was useful and informative," the report reads.

UEFA said it had been many times assured by governmental institutions that all necessary stadiums, airports, hotels and roads will be constructed on time.

UEFA is satisfied with new information about preparations for Euro 2012 and said that this data will be analyzed by UEFA experts.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, on July 3, Platini visited Kyiv and held meetings with President Viktor Yuschenko, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko and other top officials.

After the meetings, the UEFA president expressed his confidence in successful holding of Euro 2012 by Ukraine and Poland.

Ukraine and Poland won UEFA tender for hosting Euro 2012.

The event is scheduled for June 2012.

Kyiv, Lviv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Warsaw, Gdansk, Wroclaw, and Poznan will host Euro 2012 matches.

Odesa, Kharkiv, Krakow and Chorzow are alternative cities.
