The Bohdan Corporation is intending to build a full-cycle production bus plant in Belarus.

Serhii Krasulia, the press secretary for the corporation, told this to Ukrainian News.

He said Corporation President Oleh Svynarchuk and Belarusian First Deputy Premier Vladimir Semashko this week agreed to set up a joint ad hoc team to draw up a feasibility report of the new plant within three months.

The sides are considering several options of the location of the production facilities of the plant. Probably, the plant will be built in one of free economic zones of Belarus.

Krasulia said Bohdan was intending to build a plant with a capacity of 2,000 buses a year to meet the needs of the Belarusian market first and foremost.

Krasulia said the creation and development of production facilities abroad was one of the strategic goals of the corporation.
