President Viktor Yuschenko has directed Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko to ensure financing of the State Property Fund.
This follows from decree No. 449 of May 16, with which the president put into effect the resolution of the National Security and Defense Council "On the State Property Fund of Ukraine" of May 16.
Yuschenko also required that Tymoshenko report to him on execution of the mentioned order until May 19, 9 a.m.
Moreover, the president also instructed the premier to secure unquestionable fulfillment of decree No. 404 of April 25, with which Yuschenko suspended the Cabinet of Ministers' reshuffle of four deputy chairpersons of the State Property Fund.
As Ukrainian News reported before, at the NSDC meeting Yuschenko instructed the Prosecutor-General's Office to ensure that funding for the State Property Fund is resumed by 09:00 on May 19.
Andrii Portnov, whom the Cabinet of Ministers recently appointed as the acting chairman of the State Property Fund, announced that the Constitutional Court had refused to consider President Viktor Yuschenko's petition on the constitutionality of the Cabinet of Ministers' directive that replaced the leadership of the State Property Fund.
On May 15, the State Treasury rejected a request from the Cabinet of Ministers-deposed head of the State Property Fund, Valentyna Semeniuk-Samsonenko, to service the accounts of the State Property Fund.
