Cabinet Regulates Procedures For Obtaining Foreign Loans In 2008 (19:24, Wednesday, May 14, 2008)

The Cabinet of Ministers has regulated the procedures for obtaining foreign loans in 2008 in the amount stipulated in the 2008 state budget.

Finance Minister Viktor Pynzenyk announced this to journalists.

Pynzenyk said that the relevant Cabinet of Ministers resolution was mainly formal in nature and did not contain any novelties regarding the amount of loans compared with the amount stipulated in the 2008 state budget.

The 2008 state budget provides for obtaining foreign loans totaling UAH 8,098,023 million and domestic loans totaling UAH 7,775,983 million in 2008.

The total amount of borrowings planned for 2008 is UAH 15,874,006 million.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the parliament adopted the 2008 state budget in December 2007 with the aforementioned amounts of foreign and domestic loans.
