The Kyiv Audit Department has said that an inspection of the operations of the Partyzanska Slava Park in Kyiv showed that financial irregularities involving UAH 123,000 took place at the park from 2005 to February 2008.
The press service of the Kyiv Audit Department announced this to Ukrainian News.
In particular, the Kyiv Audit Department said that the violations at the park included purchase of amusement facilities in 2006 without organization of a tender.
According to the Kyiv Audit Department, the Partyzanska Slava Park bought amusement facilities for UAH 88,000, which was UAH 11,000 above the usual price.
Moreover, the Kyiv Audit Department said that financial discipline was violated during payment of bonuses and material assistance to the park's employees as well as during establishment of wages.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the Main Audit Department has denied that its inspections at the Kyiv municipal administration were illegal, as the municipal administration claimed.
The Partyzanska Slava Park operates under the Kyiv municipal administration's main department of arts and culture.
The Kyiv municipal administration is seeking participation of investors in construction of a cafe/museum called Zemlianka and a sports and entertainment complex on the territory of the Partyzanska Slava Park, which is located in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv.
The Kyiv municipal administration is also performing reconstruction work at the estimated cost of UAH 27.439 million in the park.
