Eight hundred children vacationing at the Artek international children's center (Crimea) set a Ukrainian record for choral singing on May 8 during an event dedicated to Victory Day.

The press service of Artek announced this to Ukrainian News.

According to the press service, the 800-person non-professional children's choir sang for Crimean war veterans in four languages.

At the end of their performance, representatives of the Ukrainian Book of Records announced that the record would be entered into the Ukrainian Book of Records.

All the necessary documents are expected to be submitted for registration so that the record can be entered into the Guinness Book of Records.

The Choristers sang songs in the Ukrainian, Russian, English, and Latin languages.
