According to a poll conducted by the sociological company New Image Marketing Group May 5 through May 7, the Bloc of Leonid Chernovetskyi, the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko, the Bloc of Vitalii Klychko, the Bloc of Mykola Katerynchuk, the Our Ukraine - People's Self-Defense bloc, and the Regions Party will enter the Kyiv city council.
Ukrainian News has obtained outcome of the poll.
If the election to the Kyiv council were to be held next Sunday, 23.4% of the respondents would vote for the Chernovetskyi Bloc, whereas 21.3% of those polled said they would vote for the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko, 13.8% for the Klychko Bloc, and 6.1% for the Katerynchuk Bloc.
The Our Ukraine - People's Self-Defense Bloc would gain 4.1% of the vote and the Regions Party would gain 3.9% of the vote.
Meantime, 2.2% of those polled said they were ready to vote for the Bloc of Oleksandr Omelchenko, 2.1% for the Bloc of Lytvyn, 1.3% for the Communist Party of Ukraine, 1.3% for the Hromadskyi Aktyv Kyiva, 1% for the Socialist Party of Ukraine, and 0.4% for the Party of Greens.
Of those polled, 2.1% were ready to vote for other parties and blocs, while 12.1% have yet to decide whom they would support at the elections on May 25.
Sociologists asked 1,200 Kyivans aging over 18.
The number of people polled in every district of Kyiv was proportional to the number of the adult population in the district.
Statistical error is 2.8%.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko with 23.2% of the vote, the Bloc of Leonid Chernovetskyi with 22.4%, the Bloc of Vitalii Klychko with 12.6%, the Regions Party with 8.4%, the Our Ukraine - People's Self-Defense bloc with 6.5%, and the Bloc of Mykola Katerynchuk with 5.1% of the vote would enter Kyiv city council, according the previous poll by the New Image Marketing Group April 25 through April 29.
The election campaign in Kyiv started on March 26.
Kyiv will elect the city council and a mayor on May 25.
