33.5% of the respondents polled by the New Image Marketing Group sociology company are ready to vote for incumbent mayor Leonid Chernovetskyi, 18.3% for Verkhovna Rada deputy Mykola Katerynchuk of the Our Ukraine People's Self-Defense Bloc, and 15.5% for Kyiv city council deputy Vitalii Klychko at the Kyiv mayoral elections.

At the same time, First Deputy Prime Minister Oleksandr Turchynov has the support of 6.3%, ex-mayor and Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleksandr Omelchenko of the Our Ukraine People's Self-Defense Bloc 3%, Verkhovna Rada deputy Viktor Pylypyshyn of the Lytvyn Bloc 2.4%, and Verkhovna Rada deputy Vasyl Horbal of the Party of Regions 1.5%.
1.5% are ready to vote for a different candidate, 4.8% will vote against all, and 13.2% were undecided.
The company polled 1,200 people aged over 18 from May 5 to May 7.
The number of the respondents in the districts of the city is proportional to the number of adult population living in a particular district.
The margin of error is 2.8%.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, during the recent poll by New Image on April 25-29, 31.2% said they would vote for Chernovetskyi, 18.5% for Klychko, and 16.5% for Katerynchuk.
The election campaign in Kyiv kicked off on March 26.
The early mayoral and city council elections in Kyiv are called for May 25.
