Leader of the eponymous bloc, Kyiv city mayoral candidate, and Verkhovna Rada deputy of the Our Ukraine People's Self-Defense Bloc Mykola Katerynchuk promises to personally control settlement of problems and fulfillment of his bloc's election promises in case he is elected as the capital's mayor.
He disclosed this in a statement at a meeting with residents of Kyiv Desnianskyi district.
"I am not satisfied with bureaucratic reports. I am used to controlling everything myself and will do it on the mayoral post," he said.
He also promised to in three months after the elections repeat route of his election campaign to check fulfillment of his promises.
Besides, Katerynchuk promises to toughen fight against corruption at Kyiv city state administration and Kyiv city council.
He also intends to enhance control over beautification of the capital.
In particular, he guarantees planting of 250,000 trees in the center of the city during five years.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Katerynchuk had promised to install paid composting toilets.
The Verkhovna Rada scheduled early Kyiv city council and mayoral elections on March 26.
