The population's incomes rose by 5.9% in March, compared to February, to UAH 61,221 million; and the population's savings amounted to UAH 1,107 million, the State Statistics Committee has informed.
In particular, in March, compared to February, payment of wages and salaries rose by 3.8% to UAH 26,827 million, social transfers and other current and capital transfers rose by 5.5% to UAH 25,721 million.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the population's incomes rose by 10.1% in February, compared to January, to UAH 57,795 million; and the population's savings totaled UAH 3,993 million.
In 2007, incomes of the population amounted to UAH 625,868 million, and savings totaled UAH 57,850 million.
